It was a semi date night.
I say semi date because we went to an employee appreciation dinner given by the city for which he works.
I was worried it was going to be boring since you know, employee appreciation dinner?
But we had a lot of fun!
It was a casino night and they actually had real dealers.
They had craps, roulette, and I think poker but we stayed around the blackjack table.
That's my game.
Not that I win all that often but I really like it.
It is easy to understand, except for all the adding numbers in my head while under pressure of course, and it has good odds.
It was also the one and only time I will ever gamble with $100 chips!
What a rush!
And I got to meet a few more guys that my husband works with and it is always nice to put faces with names.
I also met a couple of their wives.
I had a lot of fun laughing with one in particular and I hope we get more opportunities to get together!
